Be found by the people already searching for what you sell

Search engine optimisation is less mysterious than it is made to sound. It is fixing what stops search engines understanding your site, then publishing pages that answer what buyers ask. We do both, steadily.

What actually moves search visibility

Many businesses have paid for SEO and received a monthly report full of rankings for phrases nobody searches, with little sense of whether it brought in work. Real SEO starts with commercial questions: which searches lead to customers, which pages should answer them, and what is preventing those pages from appearing.

Our work falls into three parts. Technical: making sure the site can be crawled, loads quickly and has no errors that hold it back. Content: pages and articles that answer buyers’ questions better than the alternatives. Authority and local presence: a consistent Google Business Profile, accurate listings and links earned from relevant sites. We prioritise by likely commercial value and report in plain English.

What’s included

Technical audit and fixes

Crawl errors, redirects, page speed, indexing, duplicate content and structured data, found and fixed or briefed to your developer.

Search demand research

The searches your customers use, grouped by intent, so effort goes to the terms most likely to lead to enquiries or sales.

Page optimisation

Titles, headings, copy and internal links on your key service and product pages, improved one priority at a time.

Content plan and writing

Articles and guides that answer real buyer questions, written to be useful to people first and well structured for search.

Local SEO

Google Business Profile optimisation, consistent business details across directories and location pages where they make sense.

Link earning

Outreach to relevant publications, partners and associations for links that make sense, without buying links or using networks.

AI AT WORK

Where AI does the work

AI DOES

  • Crawls thousands of pages and groups technical issues by template, so one fix can resolve hundreds of errors
  • Clusters large keyword lists by search intent and maps each cluster to the page that should answer it
  • Produces content briefs and first drafts from the research, and checks published pages against them

YOUR SPECIALIST DECIDES

  • Your specialist decides which issues and topics to tackle first, based on commercial value
  • An editor rewrites drafts so they are accurate, useful and sound like your business
  • Link outreach and partnerships are handled by a person, never automated

How we work

  1. 01AuditA full technical and content audit, often starting from a Digital check-up, with findings ranked by likely impact.
  2. 02MandateTarget searches, priority pages, monthly budget and the measures we report on, agreed in writing.
  3. 03Fix the foundationsTechnical problems resolved first, because content performs poorly on a site search engines struggle to read.
  4. 04Build and improve contentA steady programme of page improvements and new content, following the agreed priorities.
  5. 05Report and adjustA monthly statement in plain English: what we did, what changed in visibility and enquiries, and what we do next.

HOW WE MEASURE

How we measure it

Rankings are a means, not the goal. We report on the visibility that matters and the business it produces.

  • Organic enquiries, calls or sales, tracked in analytics
  • Clicks and impressions from Google Search Console for target topics
  • Technical health: indexing status, errors resolved and Core Web Vitals

Is this right for you?

  • Your customers search for what you offer, but competitors appear instead of you
  • You have paid for SEO before and could not see what it achieved
  • You can commit to a steady programme over months, not a one-off burst

An indication, not a quote.

Questions we are asked

How long does SEO take to work?

Technical fixes can show effects relatively quickly once search engines recrawl the site, while content and authority build over months. Results depend on your starting point, your competitors and how much you publish, so nobody can honestly promise a date or a ranking. We agree what we measure at the start and report progress every month, so you can judge it for yourself.

Can you guarantee first place on Google?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google decides rankings using many factors outside any agency’s control, and results vary by location, device and user. What we can commit to is a clear plan, sound technical work, useful content and honest monthly reporting on visibility and the enquiries or sales it brings.

Is SEO still worth it now people use AI assistants?

Yes. Many people still search on Google and Bing, and AI assistants often draw on the same web pages that rank well. A technically sound site with clear, well-structured answers helps in both places. We treat AI readiness as an extension of SEO, covering structured data and direct answers, which our AI-ready websites service explains in more detail.

Do you build links?

We earn links rather than buy them. That means outreach to relevant publications, industry bodies, suppliers and partners, plus content worth referencing. We do not use link networks or paid link schemes, which breach Google’s guidelines and can harm your site. If your site already has harmful links from past work, our backlink removal service can help.
