REPUTATION · PERSONAL REPUTATION

Take control of what appears when someone searches your name

For directors, professionals and people in the public eye, a name search is a first impression. We help make sure it is accurate and fair, confidentially and without promising what nobody can deliver.

When your name is your business

Before a board appointment, a funding round, a new client or a job offer, someone will type your name into Google and, increasingly, ask an AI assistant about you. What they find may be an old news story, a namesake’s criminal record, an angry forum post from a former customer, or simply very little, which can raise its own questions.

Personal reputation work starts by seeing exactly what others see. We then work on two fronts: addressing content that is inaccurate, outdated or unfair through the routes that apply, and building a clear, credible presence that represents you properly. Outcomes depend on platforms, publishers and the law, and we tell you plainly what is realistic before you spend anything.

What’s included

Name search audit

A review of results for your name across search engines, news, social platforms and AI assistants, from a neutral location so personalisation does not skew the picture.

Item-by-item assessment

Each concerning result assessed for accuracy, age, source and the routes that might apply to it.

Profile building

Professional profiles such as LinkedIn, a personal website or speaker pages written and optimised so they represent you accurately.

Positive, factual content

Articles, interviews and contributions on credible sites that reflect your actual work, never fake reviews or invented content.

Removal and correction requests

Requests to platforms, publishers and search engines where content breaches their policies or your data protection rights, with referral to specialist solicitors where needed.

Ongoing monitoring

Alerts when new content about you appears, so you can respond early rather than discover it months later.

AI AT WORK

Where AI does the work

AI DOES

  • Runs regular searches for your name across engines, news and social platforms and flags anything new
  • Separates results about you from results about people with the same name
  • Asks AI assistants about you and records how their descriptions change over time

YOUR SPECIALIST DECIDES

  • Your director judges which items are worth acting on and which route fits each one
  • Any legal question is referred to a specialist solicitor of your choosing
  • You approve every profile, article and request sent in your name

How we work

  1. 01Confidential conversationA private call with the managing director. A confidentiality agreement can be signed before you share details.
  2. 02Audit and assessmentA written review of what appears under your name and the realistic options for each item.
  3. 03MandateAgreed objectives, the routes we will pursue, the budget and how we will report, in writing.
  4. 04ActRequests submitted, profiles built and content published, each approved by you first.
  5. 05Monitor and reportA monthly statement in plain English: what changed in your search results, what is pending and what we do next.

HOW WE MEASURE

How we measure it

We measure what a searcher actually sees, using the same set of searches each month.

  • Composition of the first page of results for your name: accurate, neutral or negative
  • Status of each removal or correction request: submitted, accepted, declined or pending
  • Accuracy of AI assistant descriptions against a fixed set of questions

Is this right for you?

  • Search results for your name include inaccurate, outdated or unfair content
  • You are preparing for a public role, appointment, fundraising or sale
  • You want discreet, honest advice rather than promises

An indication, not a quote.

Questions we are asked

Can old news articles about me be removed?

Sometimes, but not always. Publishers may update or remove articles that are inaccurate or seriously outdated, and under UK data protection law you can ask search engines to delist certain results about you. These requests are weighed against public interest and freedom of expression, so outcomes vary. We assess each article, explain the options and refer legal questions to specialist solicitors.

Someone with my name appears in search results. Can you help?

Yes. Being confused with a namesake is a common problem, particularly if the other person has negative coverage. We cannot remove legitimate content about someone else, but we can build a clear, well-optimised presence for you, with consistent details such as your profession, company and location, so searchers and AI assistants can tell you apart.

Do you write fake reviews or create false content?

No. Fake reviews and misleading content can breach consumer protection law and platform rules, and they tend to damage reputations further when discovered. Everything we publish is accurate and attributable: profiles, articles and contributions that reflect your real work and experience. That is also what holds up over time, in search engines and in AI answers.
