REPUTATION · CORPORATE REPUTATION
Protect the company's name where buyers and investors look
A company's reputation online is built from search results, reviews, news, employee comments and now AI answers. We monitor all of them, address what can be addressed and help you respond well when something goes wrong.
Reputation is decided before the first meeting
Procurement teams, investors, journalists and candidates research a company before they engage with it. They read the first page of search results, the reviews on Google and Trustpilot, comments on employer review sites and, increasingly, a summary from an AI assistant. A cluster of unanswered complaints or a single prominent negative article can cost tenders, hires and deals without anyone ever telling you why.
Corporate reputation work brings all of these sources into one view, so you can see what others see. We then improve what is within your control, such as listings, review responses and owned content, pursue the available routes for content that is inaccurate or in breach of platform rules, and prepare a plan for handling issues before they arise. We cannot promise removal or control coverage; outcomes depend on platforms and the law.

AI AT WORK
Where AI does the work
AI DOES
- Monitors reviews, news, social mentions and forums continuously and alerts you to spikes or new negative items
- Groups review themes, such as delivery, pricing or staff, so recurring problems are visible to management
- Drafts review responses in your tone for a person to check and edit
YOUR SPECIALIST DECIDES
- Your director decides with you which issues need action and which are best left alone
- Every public response is reviewed and approved before it is posted
- Legal and regulatory questions go to your solicitors or a specialist we can introduce
How we work
- 01Confidential briefingA conversation with the managing director about concerns, history and any sensitive matters, under a confidentiality agreement if you prefer.
- 02Baseline reportA full picture of how the company appears online, with each issue assessed and the realistic options set out.
- 03MandateObjectives, channels in scope, response times, budget and measures agreed in writing.
- 04Improve and addressListings corrected, content published, review process running and policy or legal routes pursued where they apply.
- 05Monitor and reportOngoing monitoring and a monthly statement in plain English, with early warning of emerging issues.
HOW WE MEASURE
How we measure it
We report on the sources buyers and investors actually consult, using a consistent set of searches and platforms.
- First-page search results for the company and key brands, by sentiment
- Review ratings, volume and response rate across the main platforms
- Accuracy of AI assistant answers to a fixed set of questions about the company
Is this right for you?
- Negative reviews, articles or comments are affecting sales, tenders or recruitment
- You have no consistent process for monitoring or responding to what is said about the company
- You are preparing for a sale, investment, rebrand or period of public attention
An indication, not a quote.
Questions we are asked
Can fake reviews about our company be removed?
Platforms such as Google and Trustpilot have policies against fake and conflict-of-interest reviews, and they can remove reviews that breach them. We document the evidence and report them through the correct channels. Each platform makes its own decision, so removal cannot be guaranteed. Genuine negative reviews are usually best answered publicly and professionally rather than challenged.
How should a company respond to negative press online?
Respond quickly, factually and through one agreed voice. Correct clear factual errors with the publisher, acknowledge legitimate concerns and explain what is being done. Avoid arguing in public. A response plan agreed in advance makes this far easier under pressure. Where coverage may be defamatory, speak to a specialist solicitor before acting, as the wrong response can make things worse.
Do AI assistants affect our company’s reputation?
Increasingly, yes. Buyers and journalists ask ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot about companies, and the answers draw on what is published online, including old articles and review sites. We check what assistants say about you and improve the accurate sources available to them, such as your website, structured data and profiles. We cannot control their answers directly.
