Digital campaigns that reach voters and stand up to scrutiny

We run digital advertising for parties, candidates and campaign groups, with imprints, verification and spending records handled properly from day one.

Political advertising is held to a higher standard

Political advertising is scrutinised by opponents, journalists, regulators and voters. A missing imprint, an unverified account or an untidy spending record can become the story, and distract from the message you paid to deliver.

Under the Elections Act 2022 digital imprints regime, digital political material must, in many circumstances, carry an imprint showing the name and address of the promoter and of any person on whose behalf it is published. Platforms add their own requirements, often including advertiser verification and disclaimers, and publish political ads in public libraries. Election law also sets spending rules that depend on the type of campaigner and the period.

We build all of this into the campaign plan. You stay responsible for your message and your legal obligations; we make sure the advertising is set up to meet them, and we keep records you can rely on.

AI AT WORK

Where AI does the work

AI DOES

  • Checks every ad and landing page for the presence of the agreed imprint before it goes live
  • Compiles daily spending and delivery records from each platform into one log
  • Summarises public responses and comments by theme, so your team sees how messages land

YOUR SPECIALIST DECIDES

  • Your campaign decides every message; we never write political claims without your approval
  • A person confirms imprints, verification and targeting before each ad runs
  • Questions of election law are referred to you and your legal advisers

HOW WE MEASURE

How we measure it

We report on reach and response in your target areas, and on compliance, so you can show exactly what ran, where and at what cost.

  • Reach and frequency in target areas
  • Response by message, such as sign-ups or volunteers
  • Ads carrying the correct imprint before launch
  • Spend logged against budget and period

Questions we are asked

What is a digital imprint?

A digital imprint is a statement on digital political material showing who is behind it. Under the Elections Act 2022, it generally includes the name and address of the promoter and of any person on whose behalf the material is published. The Electoral Commission publishes guidance on when imprints are required and how they should appear. We plan imprints for each format before ads are built.

Do platforms have their own rules for political ads?

Yes. Major platforms typically require political advertisers to complete a verification process and show a disclaimer, and many publish political ads in a public library. Some limit targeting options or do not accept political ads at all. These rules change, so we check each platform’s current policy before every campaign and start verification early.

Do you advise on election law?

We are an advertising agency, not a law firm. We know the practical requirements for digital campaigns, such as imprints, platform verification and record-keeping, and we build them into every campaign. Questions of electoral law, spending limits and returns remain your responsibility, and we recommend you take advice from your agent or legal adviser where needed.

Do you work with any political party?

We work with lawful parties, candidates and campaign groups, and we assess each enquiry individually. We reserve the right to decline work that conflicts with platform rules, the law or our own standards. Whatever your position, the campaign is run with the same care for imprints, transparency and accurate records.
