Who we are

What we collect
- Contact, portfolio, Check-up and website requests: name, business email, company, phone (optional), your message and the options you choose.
- Support tickets: name, email, company, category, priority and your description of the issue.
- Website onboarding (clients only): business, website, legal and contact details, and the files you upload.
- Technical data: IP address for security and rate limiting; cookies as described in our cookie policy.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your request and take steps before entering into a contract — Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR.
- To deliver services to clients, including website builds — Article 6(1)(b).
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam — our legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f).
- To send The Polignac Letter, only if you opt in — consent, Article 6(1)(a). You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Analytics and advertising cookies — your consent, under PECR.
Who receives it
Our hosting provider (Hostinger) and email service, acting as processors under contract. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Where processors store data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become clients: up to 24 months.
- Client records and onboarding materials: for the duration of the contract and up to 6 years after, for legal and tax purposes.
- Support tickets: up to 36 months.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at marketing@polignac.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113).
