REPUTATION · CONTENT REMOVAL
Negative content online? Find out what can realistically be done
Some content can be removed, some can be delisted from search results, some can be corrected and some must stay. We assess each item honestly, pursue the routes that apply and keep your case confidential.
Not every route fits every item
People who contact us about negative content have usually been told one of two things: that nothing can be done, or that anything can be removed for a fee. Neither is true. Whether content can be taken down, hidden from search or corrected depends on what it is, where it is published, who published it, whether it breaches a platform’s policies and what the law allows.
Our job is to work that out item by item, then pursue the routes that genuinely apply. Those include reporting content to the platform that hosts it, contacting publishers, submitting requests to search engines, and referring matters to specialist solicitors where a legal route such as defamation, privacy or data protection may be relevant. Outcomes depend on platforms and the law, and we never promise removal.
What’s included

AI AT WORK
Where AI does the work
AI DOES
- Finds copies and reposts of the same content across sites, so requests cover every instance
- Captures dated screenshots and URLs as evidence before anything changes
- Tracks each request and alerts us when a page changes, disappears or reappears
YOUR SPECIALIST DECIDES
- Your director decides which route, if any, is appropriate for each item
- Every request is written and checked by a person and approved by you before sending
- Legal assessment is made by specialist solicitors, not by us and not by AI
How we work
- 01Confidential reviewYou share the content of concern in a private call, under a confidentiality agreement if you prefer.
- 02AssessmentA written assessment of each item: the possible routes, the likely difficulty and anything that would make action unwise.
- 03MandateAgreed items, routes, budget and reporting, in writing, before any request is submitted.
- 04Submit and follow upRequests submitted through the correct channels and followed up, with legal matters handed to solicitors where appropriate.
- 05Report and monitorA plain-English update on every item, and monitoring for the content reappearing elsewhere.
HOW WE MEASURE
How we measure it
We report outcomes item by item, including requests that were declined, so you have an honest record.
- Requests submitted, accepted, declined and pending, by item and route
- Visibility of each item in search results for the relevant names
- Reappearances detected and addressed
Is this right for you?
- Specific content about you or your company is inaccurate, outdated, private or abusive
- You want an honest assessment before spending money on removal attempts
- You need the matter handled confidentially and in coordination with solicitors if required
An indication, not a quote.
Questions we are asked
Can you guarantee negative content will be removed?
No. Anyone who guarantees removal is either overpromising or using methods that can backfire. Each platform, publisher and search engine makes its own decision under its policies and the law. What we commit to is an honest assessment, properly prepared requests through the correct channels, careful follow-up and a clear record of every outcome, including the requests that are declined.
What is the right to be forgotten in the UK?
Under UK data protection law, individuals can ask search engines to delist results about them that are inaccurate, inadequate, irrelevant or excessive. The search engine weighs the request against public interest, so results about public roles or serious matters may stay. It removes the result from searches on your name, not the original page. We can prepare these requests and refer complex cases to solicitors.
Do I need a solicitor to remove content?
Not always. Many items can be addressed through platform reports, publisher requests or search engine requests without legal action. Where content may be defamatory, breach privacy or involve harassment, a specialist solicitor is the right person to advise. We do not give legal advice, but we can prepare the evidence and timeline so your solicitor’s time is used efficiently.
Is my case kept confidential?
Yes. Content removal often involves sensitive personal or commercial matters. Your enquiry goes directly to the managing director, details are shared only with the people working on your case, and we can sign a confidentiality agreement before you tell us anything. Requests are submitted in a way that avoids drawing further attention to the content.
